Applications to our bursary are now open for aspiring lawyers with an offer to start the LLB course at a Scottish university in the coming academic year.

We’re here to help pupils who have the drive and talent to become the lawyers of the future, but have grown up in challenging surroundings and lack the finances and resources to do so. Our bursary of £2,500 for each year of a student's legal education is aimed at helping ensure everyone has fair access to a legal career.

It's also about more than just pursuing a particular career. In order to make joining the legal profession a bit less daunting, we also provide our students mentoring, work shadowing and networking opportunities.

If you could benefit from our help, check out the eligibility criteria on our Who Can Apply? page and see our Student Stories for an insight into what it's like to be a Foundation student.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday, 11 June 2021.

Good luck!
